This machine was a total game changer for me. I make little stuffed animals and cutting out the fabric takes up soooo much time if I do it by hand (not to mention I’m terrible at cutting things out correctly!). The Cricut took a fraction of the time to use and each piece was cut out perfectly. All I had to do was cut out squares to put on the mat. The rotary blade is amazing and I’ve made about 70 mats worth of items with no issues so far. I look forward to using this machine for a whole pile of projects I’ve got going on, from more stuffed animals to thank you cards. I’m so grateful a machine like this exists for home use!

First project on my Maker was HTV for t-shirts for my parent¡¯s 50th wedding anniversary. I designed a monogram, with wedding date, etc. used HTV to make 24 t-shirts and 6 aprons so the servers matched the family. All family wore their shirts from aged 70 down to 4! They were a hit! The versatility of the Maker is awesome and has reignited my crafting fun! The maker is easy to use since design space walks you through everything. Cricut Maker was worth the investment for me since I love making things for my family. I am not a professional but for this mom¡¯s needs, it¡¯s great!

There is a learning curve with using this Cricut. I highly recommend watching YouTube videos on perfecting certain crafts you may want to try. Some of the videos from random users don’t really help: they go from explaining to skipping a few steps…and voila, perfect art; me sitting there staring at the screen wondering: now hold on!! How did you do THAT part?! The Cricut developer videos are really helpful: very short and informative. There is a lot of information though, broken up into short clips (love that btw), but it really doesn’t stop me from trying to experiment on my own. The user software is really simple to use, and I love how I can do what I want to make what I want. My 12 year old picked it up super fast…I had to put a password on my laptop to keep her from using the Cricut for the most random things!! I really recommend this for people who enjoy a wide array of crafts/art/projects. It is simple to use, the results are stunning, and the learning curve is actually fun!

I ordered this particular machine because it could do fabric as well as cardstock and other items. I made one mistake when it arrived though. I told my teenager about it. Now my daughter who is lucky to emerge from her room for food won’t get out of my office. She is constantly wanting to make something new and I haven’t been able to use it yet. It seems to work really well for her and I have only had to help her with a couple slight adjustments (rushing to fast to follow directions). I hope one day I will be able to get my craft desk back from the teen and try this out for myself.

Okay, I have wanted a Cricut for a literal decade and I’m SO HAPPY this is my first Cricut because it is INCREDIBLE! I also never leave reviews for anything unless it changes my life haha so you know I’m serious! My favorite thing so far has been cutting felt. It’s SO EASY!!! In a few hours I made several dozen flowers and bows—oh my goodness! Do you know that I have been making felt bows and flowers by hand for years for fun and not only were they poorly shaped, they took me a MILLION YEARS! I am so excited about the neat things to do with the Cricut Maker and I will definitely be trying heat transfer vinyl soon. We make matching Disney shirts and either pay t-shirt companies a ton of money or do that crappy printer paper iron on stuff but now I can do HTV with the Cricut Maker and I am so excited to play!!! Seriously, if you are a novice or an expert and are wondering if you need this–YES YOU NEED THIS!!!!! It is 100% worth every single penny.

Only had it for a few days, hooked it up, downloaded software, started using right away. I¡¯m a first time user of any die cut tool so can¡¯t compare to others, but this Cricut Maker is super easy! My wife, not very tech or tool savvy, loves it and has already made a few fun projects. I did quite a bit of research, read a lot of articles, feedback and reviews. I chose the Maker based on the capabilities compared to less expensive, I didn¡¯t want restrictions compared to so many projects available online. Also, most reviews state the Cricut machines and software has a better learning curve, Maker was extremely easy to set up and within about 30 minutes made our first sample project that came with the machine. So far feels like a great quality product. Looking forward to many fun and creative projects!

I love my Cricut Maker! If you¡¯re on the fence just get it because it¡¯s awesome. I¡¯ve made a number of personalized cards and gifts and my family and friends absolutely love them. I also label things for my two year old (at home and for school) and decorated my house! Love love love!!! I get ideas on Pinterest and there¡¯s lots of Facebook groups you can join for even more ideas. Worth the money and works way better than I thought it would. It makes tiny little cuts for detailed pieces. Did I already mention how much I love it? Also they come out with new tools which makes your potential projects limitless!

First, if you¡¯re new to die cutting, expect a learning curve. Second, if you experience technical issues, contact cricut support; they are very helpful. The software is user friendly once you learn the ins and outs of it. Device connectivity is sometimes glitchy if you have a Mac computer but was easily resolved with help from cricut support. The Maker is the Cadillac of die cutting with endless projects that can be completed. To get it¡¯s full use you really need to buy additional blades (to cut wood or leather). Despite a frustrating setup, I love my Maker.
